Early report: anchored in Squamish Harbor, just south of the Hood Canal bridge. Sketchy anchorage if the weather turns, but in a northerly it is ideal. Made the trip over in record time, AVERAGING 6 knots. Yup. Beam reaching with the current the whole way. Poor Yanmar never even got a chance to get loosened up before we put him to battery charging duty.
Kids are sleeping ashore with the grandparents. The 'Hood ain't the same without Bob the Builder and Cinderella sleeping bags.
Internet connection is strong out here for some reason. Nice.
